The dental team can explain whether NightLase may fit your needs and how treatment is planned. Because snoring can be a sign of sleep apnea, appropriate medical evaluation remains important.
Common questions.
How does NightLase work?
NightLase uses Fotona Er:YAG laser energy to encourage collagen contraction in the oral mucosa. The goal is to open the airway and reduce the tissue vibration that causes snoring.
Is NightLase a replacement for a sleep-apnea diagnosis or CPAP?
No. Snoring can be associated with obstructive sleep apnea, which requires medical evaluation. Do not stop prescribed CPAP or other treatment without speaking with the clinician managing your sleep care.
